Orphrey banding on a gothic chasuble

by Colleen

Help, I can't figure out how to do the shoulder seams for the Orphrey banding on a chasuble. My chasuble is one complete piece of fabric and does not have shoulder seams. But the banding wants to come to a point and it looks weird pointed, how do you make it round and then match the pattern in the banding???

You Can't Make the Banding Round
by: Lynne Green

Hello Colleen,

You can't make it round. It is supposed to be pointed at the shoulders.

I'm sorry, but there is no other way to do it as far as I know.
