custom stole of muslin with children's handprints

What special tips can you give me for working with muslin vs. satin, after children's handprints have been "painted" on the muslin? As a quilter, I plan to line the stole with quilt batting, then hand- or machine-quilt around the handprints.

I'll send a pic after it's done, by the way.

Muslin Should be Just as Easy as Satin

I would think muslin would be just as easy as satin to use for the lining. It shouldn't be too difficult to work with.

You will still have to hand-stitch it around the edges, and it should be fine. Since you are a quilter, I suspect this won't be a problem for you.
