chasuble material

I am considering making a chasuble but would like to make one in wool. Can I use the same patterns as you are offering here or do I need to do some alterations. Also, can I apply satin banding onto 100% wool fabric.

thank you,

Don't Line a Wool Chasuble
by: Lynne Green

Yes, you can apply satin banding to a wool chansuble, or any other type of banding you want.

However, with a wool chasuble, it is better not to line it, so just hem the chasuble all the way around with a little hem rather that try to line it.

Wool breathes, but if you add lining, it will be way too hot.

All the best,
